Samantha's Chennai Story to go on floors next month

Samantha, who was last seen in the mythological drama Shaakunthalam, will begin shooting for her Hollywood project directed by BAFTA Award winner Philip John, next month. Titled Chennai Story, the film is an adaption of the Indian Author Timeri N Murari's bestselling 2004 novel The Arrangements of Love.

The rom-com, co-starring Viveik Kalra, in the lead, the film is said to follow the story of a man who returns to his homeland Chennai after his mother passes away, in search of his estranged father. During his pursuit, he hires a private detective to aid him.  With Viveik playing the youngster, Samantha will be essaying the detective's role. 

Apart from this film, Samantha will next be seen in the love story Kushi, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda, and directed by Shiva Nirvana.
