Ashok Selvan-Priya Bhavani Shankar film titled Hostel

We had previously reported that Ashok Selvan and Priya Bhavani Shankar are coming together for an upcoming film produced by Trident Films. The film's title has been revealed as Hostel. The project, which was launched in December, was wrapped yesterday.

Directed by Sadhuram 2 filmmaker Sumanth Radhakrishnan, Hostel also features Satish, Nasser, Munishkanth, and Ravi Maria in key roles. With music by Bobo Sashi and cinematography by Praveen, Hostel is reported to be the Tamil remake of the 2015 Malayalam comedy, Adi Kapyaare Kootamani, which starred Dhyan Sreenivasan and Namitha Pramod.

Apart from this film, Ashok, who was recently seen in the Telugu film Ninnila Ninnila, has an untitled multi-starrer directed by Vishal Venkat, and the long-delayed Red Rum in the pipeline.

Priya Bhavani Shankar, on the other hand, has multiple films including Rudhran, Oh Manapenne, Indian 2, Kuruthi Attam, Arun Vijay's next (AV 33), and Pathu Thala, in various stages of production.
