Deepika Padukone tests positive for COVID-19, say reports

After members of her family tested positive for COVID-19, Deepika Padukone has reportedly also contracted the virus. 

While there is no official confirmation, IIFA tweeted, "Deepika Padukone has tested positive for Covid-19. Get well soon, Deepika!" 

Earlier today, Deepika's father and legendary Indian badminton player Prakash Padukone contracted the virus and had to be admitted to a Bengaluru hospital due to high fever. The actor's mother Ujjala Padukone and younger sister Anisha had also tested positive and were under home quarantine.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Deepika has a number of films including Ranveer Singh's 83, Shakun Batra's upcoming project, Prabhas' next, the Hindi remake of The Intern, and Hrithik Roshan-starrer Fighter.
